Important announcement for those wishing to register for Hajj for the 1445 AH/2024 AD season
The Minister of Endowments, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, Dr. Muhammad Al-Khalayleh, announced the start of initial registration for those wishing to perform the Hajj for the Hajj season 1445 AH/2024 AD for Jordanian citizens and people of the Gaza Strip residing in the Kingdom.
Registration will take place through the Hajj electronic portal https://hajj.gov.jo, starting tomorrow morning, Monday, until ten o’clock in the evening on Sunday, 12/31/2023.
He called on those wishing to register, who meet the conditions, to pay an amount of 200 dinars to the original registrant only, which is refundable after the end of registration at a time determined by the Hajj and Umrah Department.
And those accompanying the original registrant are exempt from paying, indicating that payment is available through any of your invoices, or via Visit one of the branches of the Jordan Islamic Bank or one of the branches of Safwa Islamic Bank.
To register for this year’s Hajj season, it is required that the original registrant/registrar be born on (12/31/1970) or younger, has never performed the Hajj, and has received two doses of the Coronavirus vaccine from the approved vaccines.
Regarding those saving at the Hajj Fund, Al-Khalayla stated that savers who completed the amount of 3,000 dinars in their balance before 1/1/2019 have the right to register via the Fund’s website (https://hajjfund.gov.jo).
For women who wish to accompany a mahram, she must have completed the amount of 6,000 dinars before 1/1/2019, for herself and her mahram, as the fund’s savers are not required to pay any amounts upon registration and they are required to obtain two doses of the Coronavirus vaccine from the approved vaccines.
