The procss of ihram
Before wearing ihram clothes, the following must be done:
1. Trimming nails, trimming the mustache, and removing armpit and private hair.
2. It is desirable to wash the body, and if you do not wash, there is nothing wrong with that.
3. The man takes off his sewn clothes and wears only ihram clothes.
4. A woman takes off the niqab, burqa, and gloves.
5. After washing, the man perfumes his body only and does not perfume his ihram clothes, while the woman perfumes anything that does not reveal its scent.
6. After completing the pilgrimage, the pilgrim intends to enter into the ritual, saying: (Labayk Allahuma Umrah)
Thus, he has entered ihram even if he does not utter anything, and the Talbiyah is obligatory in the process of entering ihram
Ihram taboos
After entering ihram from the miqat, it is forbidden for the pilgrim to do the following:
1. Removing any hair or nails.
2. It is not permissible for a person in ihram to apply perfume to his body or clothing.
3. It is not permissible for a pilgrim in ihram to cover his head with ihram clothing or other clothing such as a shemagh, keffiyeh, The turban.
4. It is not permissible for a pilgrim in ihram to wear sewn clothing all or part of his body, such as a dress, shirt, pants, or socks.
5. It is not permissible for a person in ihram to propose marriage to women, whether for himself or for someone else. And to be with his wife.
6. It is not permissible for a woman to wear gloves, a niqab, or a burqa, but it is permissible to wear a veil in the presence of foreigners.
7. It is not permissible for a person in ihram to hunt, drive away, or assist in that. It is forbidden for a Muslim to hunt, drive out, or assist in that within the boundaries of the Haram.
8. It is forbidden for a Muslim, whether in ihram or not, to cut down the trees or plants of the Haram that have grown without human action.
9. It is not permissible for a Muslim, whether in ihram or not, to pick up a piece of money, gold, or silver in the forbidden country except to identify it.
It is permissible for a pilgrim in ihram to do the following:
1. It is permissible to wear a watch, headphones, eyeglasses, a ring, sandals, or a belt in which money is stored.
2. It is permissible to use an umbrella, carry belongings or bedding, bandage wounds, clean ihram clothes, and wash the body.
3. If hair falls out unintentionally, there is nothing wrong with it.
There is no specific prayer during the process of ihram. Just saying
(Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty, You have no partner)
